How does one best look after an orchid? They’re actually easier than you might think!

Orchids need a few things to stay consistent. These include light (but not direct sunlight), a good bath once a week, and NO WIND. You may have heard that you should water your orchid with an ice cube. That’s NOT the best idea, because ice could harm the root system or leaves of the plant if they make direct contact against either. I find watering an orchid with room temperature water is the way to go, as they come from warm and humid climates originally. 

Once all their basic needs are met such as light, temperature, and humidity, they are a pleasure to have around! They make excellent accent plants for nearly any yacht or home 🥰
